Frequently Asked Questions

In order to have full access to breeder and customer benefits, you will need to create an account and login with your username and password information.

To list a puppy, follow these steps:

  1. Login to your breeder account. Upgrade or renew if prompted. You will need to have a paid breeder subscription in order to have full access to breeder benefits, such as listing a puppy.
  2. Once logged in under a paid subscription, your main navigation menu will change to give you full functionality. Click on ‘List a Puppy’ from the main navigation menu. This will direct you to the Breeder Dashboard where you can add a new puppy.
  3. Fill out all relevant information. Required fields are marked with an asterisk. Give your puppy a name, mark its general location on the map (this will appear on the location map in the search results and allow customers to view puppies in a general area) and select its date of birth. If your litter is not born yet, you may choose ‘Not Born Yet.’ Next, choose it’s appropriate breed, generation, coat color, gender, any relevant extras, and available shipping methods.
  4. Next, choose your puppy’s main photo – this will appear in the main search results. To add your image, click on ‘Add Image’, navigate to the ‘Upload Files’ tab, and select your files, or simply drag and drop them into the upload area. For best optimization on all platforms, all main puppy images will automatically be cropped to a square if they are not already square. To add images to your puppy’s gallery, choose your appropriate images by following the same steps as above. Please keep in mind, JPG files are recommended.
  5. Next, choose your Country, State, and input your puppy’s price. Add an appropriate description – the more details, the better!
  6. Once all of your information has been added, scroll back to the top and hit ‘Publish.’ A green ‘Post Published’ message will appear at the top of the listing. You can click ‘View Post’ to be taken directly to your new listing.

To clone a puppy listing, follow these steps:

  1. Once logged into your account, click on the ‘My Puppies’ tab. This will take you to all your puppy listings.
  2. Hover over the title of the puppy listing you would like to clone, and a row of functions will appear.
  3. Click on the ‘Clone’ option.
  4. Your new clone will automatically be saved as a draft. Next to your new listing, you will see it labeled as a ‘Draft.’ You can also find all clones in your Drafts folder.
  5. Click on your draft clone to edit it. Make any necessary changes.
  6. Once you have made all necessary changes, hit ‘Publish’ and then your puppy will be listed. You may clone as many times as you need.

If you accidentally delete a puppy listing, you can easily restore it by following these steps:

  1. Navigate to your ‘My Puppies’ page.
  2. At the top of your ‘My Puppies’ page, you will see options that read ‘All, Published, Draft, Trash’.
  3. By clicking on ‘Trash’, you will be directed to your trash folder and see all of your puppies that have been deleted. Hover over the title of the puppy you would like to restore and click ‘Restore.’ This will automatically move your puppy back to the published puppies.

NOTE: Once you permanently delete your listings from the trash folder, you cannot restore them.

When you receive a message on Puppy Paw Network from a potential customer, you will receive an email notification directly to the email you have on file for your account. The email notification will let you know that you have received a message on your Puppy Paw Network account and will ask you to login to view it. Once you log into your account, you will have a message across the top of your dashboard letting you know you have an unread message. You can click on the notification or click the message tab to view your new message.

The Dashboard of Puppy Paw Network can only be viewed when logged into the website with breeder or customer account. The dashboard is your control panel to the website which gives you access to all advanced features, such as your listed puppies, subscription information, messages, and bookmarks. For subscribing breeders, a secondary dashboard header appears at the top of your window to allow you to navigate to the front and back end of your breeder dashboard.

Once you list a puppy, to get back to the homepage of the website, click on ‘Go To Front-End” in the black, dashboard header. You can use the shortcuts in this header menu to navigate back and forth between the Front-End dashboard and the Back-End Breeder Dashboard.

NOTE: These functions are only available when logged in as a subscribing breeder.

If you do not have any current puppies to list, you may temporarily suspend your account. To access this option, login to your account, and navigate to your ‘My Subscriptions’ menu by clicking on the person icon to the far right of the main menu. Under your account options, there will be a ‘Suspend’ option. This option will suspend your account until you renew. All of your account information will be saved, but you will not be charged again until you renew your subscription. If you wish to completely cancel your account, you may choose ‘Cancel’ next to your subscription information, but if you would like to list more puppies at a later date, you will need to create a new account.

NOTE:  By suspending your account, all active puppy listings on your account will be hidden from the public, you will not be able to list new puppies, and you will not be able to communicate with customers through Puppy Paw Network, until you renew.
